Salman Khan was present for his hearing in the Jodhpur court along with other accused actors Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre in the case of Blackbuck Poaching case. Among India’s hugest star, Salman Khan has been sentenced to 5 years jail time as being guilty in the killing of 2 Blackbuck at the time of Hum Saath Saath Hai film shooting 20 years ago.

Other two accused persons, the travel agent Dinesh Gawre and Dushyant Singh are also involved in the case as Salman’s assistant where Gawre is still off the radar.
At the time of interview in 2009, Salman Khan has said “We saw a fawn caught in a bush. He was petrified. I took him out of there, gave him some water. The whole herd was there. (The fawn) ate a few biscuits and went away”
Komal Nahata posted the statement of Salman Khan’s legal team on twitter which says “In the present case, the Hon’ble Court has acquitted all the 5 co-accused which would imply that Salman was out hunting alone in the middle of the night in a remote area outside Jodhpur.”
Salman Khan currently holds a huge film investment of those producers who helmed their project with him for upcoming years. He is one of the most bankable stars of Hindi film Industry and followed by the huge mass of the nation, near to being himself a cult in India. According to a belief, Rs. 700 crores are at stake on him which will doom after his jail sentence.

He recently has completed the shooting of the film Race 3 featuring along Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Anil Kapoor and Saqib Saleem. However, Komal Nahata said that there is not much risk of money with the Salman Khan’s future film projects like ‘Bharat’ ‘Kick 2’ and ‘Dabangg 3’ as they all are in pre-production stage. He said “There’s not much involvement of money whether it’s ‘Bharat’ or ‘Dabangg 3’ or ‘Kick 2’. The only film where money has been invested is ‘Race 3’ and that shouldn’t be a problem unless he is convicted for more than three years, because if that happens, then he will not even be getting bail and the film will get stuck,”
